Jamie Stillinger, MAT, BCBA is the Founder and Director of Next Steps Therapy and has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 25 years. Jamie discovered her passion for working with children and adolescents with autism and related disorders at the young age of 16. She began her career as a line therapist, learning and applying the principles of behavior modification. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Columbia College, Jamie went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Special Education at the University of South Carolina. After earning this degree, she was a teacher in a self-contained autism classroom for 12 years. Her desire to provide more effective treatment for the children she worked with led her to complete the required course work to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, South Carolina’s Association for Behavior Analysis, and Applied Behavior Analysis International.
